1. COLOMBIA: CUMBIA
La CUMBIA, colombian most famous dance, the word “cumbia” comes from the african word “Cumbe” which means celebration or festival. The dance is all about a courtship from the man to the women. A special characteristic from this dance is that women plays around with her long skirt.

2. ARGENTINA: TANGO
TANGO represents love and sadness, it’s a mix of immigrants and slaves influences in Argentina. African slaves brought new rhythms and sounds to latin american communities. These different rhythms were spread all over Argentina and Tango had life.
Tango is a sensual and slow dance, both dancers are close to each other with a melodic feeling.
3. SPAIN: FLAMENCO
Andalusia, Spain, an autonomous community which brought to life FLAMENCO. It’s an individual dance and it’s composed by three special moments: 1. the dance 2. the music play and 3. the singing. The hand palms have an important relevance in the dance expression.

4. BRAZIL: SAMBA
SAMBA, the most famous Brazilian music genre and cultural expression. Its well know all around the world as a symbol of the Brazilian carnival usually celebrated in february. Samba is danced in groups and when danced in couples sometimes they spread apart to perform variant steps.
